In order to reduce the environmental impact of its production activities, reduce energy consumption and improve the quality of the working environment, TEXAL has adopted an TEXAL invests in energy saving lighting solution that combines quality of light, visual comfort and energy efficiency, replacing 410 old-generation fluorescent lights with 384 LED lights.
The new system has reduced energy consumption by 69% – from 399,504 kWh/year to 128,523 kWh/year – with consequent economic savings; in an industrial area of 1600 m2, with a high level of illuminance, consumption is now only 11W/m2.
